BUILT AROUND DRAGLINE AND SHOVEL WORK

Mining is the core of the business. We service electric draglines and face shovels, hydraulic excavators, coal processing plants and blast hole drill rigs across the Bowen Basin, with planned shutdowns, emergency breakdowns and in situ rebuilds backed by the full workshop.

New manufacture and repair covers rope sheaves and drums, walking frames, pins and bushes, cams and shafts, fairlead and boom point assemblies, load rollers and drive sprockets, along with structural repairs to booms, side frames, car bodies, upper frame modules, dippers and buckets.

The fabrication building runs 90 m long, 30 m wide and 16 m high, with four dragline bucket arch pits and sheave rotators to 5 m diameter, so a bucket or an arch is set up, turned and welded in the one place.

IN THE PIT, ON YOUR SHUTDOWN

Field crews take the same capability to the machine. ABC has been principal contractor for a six week ROM shutdown at BMA Peak Downs and has held five years of monthly maintenance at Coppabella, LTI free, with in situ hoist and drag drum rebuilds and Marion 8750 propel gear case change outs done in place.

Slew bearing work is supported on site with condition monitoring, in situ change out tables, an integrated excavator jacking and support stand system and car body drive out options, so the change happens on your schedule rather than ours.

Transport moves the component both ways, 24/7, with low loaders to 50 tonnes, Franna cranes and prime movers on flat and drop deck trailers.
